This is a University project where me and my team mate Fatima created a pencil holder that combined the aesthetics organic and functionality.
The wooden section is made form layers of plywood that where laser cut, stacked and glued together. Each layer is created from a pattern that waists very little material.
After gluing each layer together the model had to be sanded down. I used a lot of the hand sanders at the Makerspace and their dremel tool to sand the insides of the model.
The Cup was drawn in SolidWorks and 3D printed. 3D Models can be seen below.
